Giving
to Others in Our Community - That's What We Do!
|
We here
at Strong Ave. Studios know deep down in our hearts that
giving to those in needs benefits more than just those
involved.
Why? Because we know giving to others helps make our communities better places
to live. It is also because when we raise the standard of living for the the
least able among us, we raise our own standard of living in turn.
We here at Strong Ave. Studios understand that we are all interdependent on one
another for our care and well-being. That reminder can have a powerful effect
and could possibly motivate others to follow. |

December 14, 2011 - Kansas
City, Kansas
On December 14, 2011, Strong Ave. Studios had the privilege
to donate over fifty (50)
Amigoman comic books to the KCK Public School (USD
500) /Homeless Program.
Our hope was that maybe an Amigoman comic book would
bring a little Christmas and Holiday cheer to a child
in our community.
So we visited a church that was hosting a holiday event
provided by the KCK School District's Homeless Program!
A local business/silent donor annually sponsors a free
luncheon to the
families
involved
with
the KCK
District
Homeless Program. This event also included a visit
from Santa, a book drive and crafts for all the kids.
The creator of Amigoman attended and was very glad
he did. With hopes of giving more, not just for the
holidays, AO plans to work
with the KCK School District more in 2012 in any way
possible.
The statistics of homeless students in KCK and across
the nation are staggering. School kids shouldn't have
to worry about
where they
are going to sleep or what they are going to eat each
day - please give if you can.
The KCK School District
Homeless Programs give homeless children hope
and a chance for a better future. Donate today. Contact
our KCK Homeless Liaison - Kerry Wrenick at kewreni<@>kckps.org
as soon as you can.
